Safety is also a perk here, as the neighbourhood is largely residential, rather than city-centric. Kids will enjoy the family day trips out for meals and the amenities nearby. 

Investments-wise, on top of the aforementioned, the fact that Verticus is one of the few new developments in the Balestier area makes it quite competitive and attractive for renting. Together with the fact that it is close to MRT stations, bus stops and highways, there is potential for it to be a lucrative investment indeed. 

Our Review on Verticus

All in all, I must say that Verticus is quite appealing in terms of location, size and price. The location is great to travel to and fro from, especially for working adults. I definitely see families taking advantage of the family-friendly amenities like the pool and playground, as well as the spaciousness of the units.

The only qualm I have is with the neighbourhood— while there are plenty of things to do, future residents might prefer more modern destinations like the newly-developed Aperia Mall over the older shops and stalls.

As modern malls tend to be slightly further, to them, the immediate area around Verticus may seem less exciting. However, that being said, the expected TOP date is in 2024, so there’s plenty of time for new things to sprout around the area.

To conclude, Verticus should be highly regarded in the estate and it makes for a happy and healthy home. Its features are overwhelmingly positive at the moment, yet, it must be acknowledged that one needs to see the place first hand to confirm that impression.
