Verticus Condo sits at 5 Jalan Kemaman in Balestier, located in close proximity to Novena, Boon Keng and Bendeemer areas. At first glance, this may seem to be a secluded area compared to bustling areas like Punggol or Orchard, but upon deeper inspection, we discover how ideal Verticus’ location actually is.
To start off, a key consideration to the feasibility and attractiveness of any property is how well connected it is. Residents can take a shuttle bus from Veticus to Novena Square. On this note, some new condos are indeed difficult to travel to and fro from, especially if you’re headed to the CBD area— but that’s not the case for Verticus.
There are a few MRT stations within walking distance, namely Boon Keng MRT, Novena MRT and Toa Payoh MRT stations. This means that there’s great access from Verticus Condo to all major train lines, including the North-East, East-West, Circle and Downtown Lines.
For those who drive, there’s no issue either, with the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) and Central Expressway (CTE) close by.

With the wide range of things to do around Verticus, dull nights will be few and far between. Whether you enjoy city life or nature-related activities, there’s plenty to do.

For Verticus, the closest school is Balestier Hill primary school. Other primary schools in the vicinity include Bendemeer Primary School, Anglo-Chinese Primary School and First Toa Payoh Primary School.

As such, Verticus is unique as its location leans towards being a residential area with its greenery and open space for recreational needs; yet it enjoys the benefits of being close to bustling businesses with plenty to explore and do.

Anyone who works near the CBD area, or loves to frequently the town area should buy a unit in Verticus. Not only does gaining hold of this plot of freehold land a win, but given its prime location and huge size, this condominium is definitely a steal.
The timing is great as well, as there have not been many new housing developments in Balestier targeting the same segment for a while — meaning that demand is likely to be high.
That being said, the question of whether the development will live up to expectations still remains unanswered. Before the TOP Date of 31 December 2024, all we can do is look at the fact. There is a wide variety of apartment units – 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroo (dual key) and 4 bedroom penthouses.
To summarise all that has been said, the location, amenities and price of Verticus make it the ideal location for PMETs (Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians) in Singapore. Not only is it family-friendly, but it’s also easily accessible to the CBD and town areas like Shaw Plaza.
Safety is also a perk here, as the neighbourhood is largely residential, rather than city-centric. Kids will enjoy the family day trips out for meals and the amenities nearby.
Investments-wise, on top of the aforementioned, the fact that Verticus is one of the few new developments in the Balestier area makes it quite competitive and attractive for renting. Together with the fact that it is close to MRT stations, bus stops and highways, there is potential for it to be a lucrative investment indeed.
All in all, I must say that Verticus is quite appealing in terms of location, size and price. Located at Jalan Kemaman, the location is great to travel to and fro from, especially for working adults. I definitely see families taking advantage of the family-friendly amenities like the pool and playground, as well as the spaciousness of the units.
The only qualm I have is with the neighbourhood— while there are plenty of things to do, future residents might prefer more modern destinations like the newly-developed Aperia Mall over the older shops and stalls.
As modern malls tend to be slightly further, to them, the immediate area around Verticus may seem less exciting. However, that being said, the expected TOP date is in 2024, so there’s plenty of time for new things to sprout around the area.
To conclude, Verticus should be highly regarded in the estate and it makes for a happy and healthy home. There are plenty of shopping destinations around and its features are overwhelmingly positive at the moment, yet, it must be acknowledged that one needs to see the place first hand to confirm that impression.
