The Tapestry Location

The Tapestry along Tampines Ave 10 is located close to Tampines Regional Centre and the Pasir Ris Estate. It is located between United World College (East Campus) and Temasek Polytechnic, the nearest MRT station is Tampines MRT station that is just a short 5 to 10 minutes bus ride away. 

Located along the East-West Line as well as the Downtown Line, residents of the Tapestry condo will have convenient access to the CBD area, the West, and even places like Marina Bay, Bugis and Bukit Panjang. 

The wealth of bus services that route the area include 8, 15, 23, 129 and 158; all of which allow residents to commute to Pasir Ris MRT station and Bishan MRT Station. There is also the Tampines bus interchange at Tampines MRT Station that heightens connectivity to all parts of Singapore via the various bus services available.

For drivers, the Tapestry condo is situated near many major expressways and viaducts. Residents who wish to go to the central area can take the Bartley viaduct that connects Bartley road, Braddell road and Bishan. 

Alternatively, the nearby Tampines Expressway (TPE) gives residents access to other highways like the Pan Island Expressway (PIE), Kallang Paya-Lebar Expressway (KPE), Seletar Expressway (SLE) and Central Expressway (CTE). With such great connectivity, residents will be able to travel to places like Changi Airport, Changi Business Park, the Orchard shopping belt and the Central Business District (CBD) with ease.

A short bus ride from the Tapestry is all residents need to get to Tampines MRT Station, where four major shopping malls are situated. These malls include Tampines Mall, Tampines One, the newly built Our Tampines Hub [1] and the newly-renovated Century Square Tampines all within close proximity of each other. Our Tampines Hub also features a fully furnished multistorey library, providing ample space for students to study at or a respite while reading. Moreover, White Sands Shopping Mall is accessible via bus or car, where residents can find a wide variety of food options there. 

Furthermore, IKEA, Giant Hypermart and Courts Megastore are located at Tampines North Drive 2, which only requires a 10 minutes car ride. Residents who’d like to travel further can also reach East Point Mall at Simei MRT Station, Changi City Point at Expo MRT Station, Elias Mall at Pasir Ris as well as East Village at Simpang Bedok. Last but not least, there are plenty of markets in the area that offer fresh ingredients at low prices, and delectable local dishes all day long.

The Tapestry is located just a stone’s throw away from Changi General Hospital, that is beside East Point Mall at Simei MRT Station. The hospital provides 24/7 healthcare services and residents can rest assured knowing that they’ll receive quality care from their impeccable and highly-trained staff members.

There are also International schools catered to expats like the United World College of South East Asia (East Campus), The Japanese School Changi Campus and the Overseas Family School in the area.

Parks and Recreation Areas

For families looking to relax during the weekends, there are some small parks like Tampines Park, Tampines Central Park and Sun Plaza Park that are just a short bus ride away. Residents of the Tapestry condo can also head to the Tampines Park Connector to engage in their favourite recreational activities as it links them to places like Punggol and Pasir Ris. 

Slightly further away is Tampines Quarry Park and Bedok Reservoir that are fairly accessible via bus or car; allowing residents to jog, cycle and even participate in water sports while enjoying the calm and scenic views. Another popular recreational area is SAFRA Tampines that is located nearby as well. It offers many facilities like EnergyOne gym, multi-purpose halls, BBQ pits, and the Artistic Sports Centre.
